WebPortglenone was originally part of the parish of Ahoghill. Due to population changes, a separate parish (called Portglenone) was created in the late 1830s. Portglenone Church of Ireland lost it’s early records in the 1922 fire in Dublin, and sadly now has no baptism or burial records before 1873. Marriages start in April 1845.
