Special note: Due to supply chain issues and availability I can’t always get 80CRV2 in the size stock I need for this design, so I may need to switch it for the 52100. If your looking for a steel that has the ability to be readily forged and ground alike and only needs a very simple heat treat like 5160 then 80CrV2 is the blade steel for you.
