WebIt's been like this for ages in Monster Hunter, the game that inspired Dauntless. The idea is that enemies will feel more 'real', because you need to watch how they react instead of the hud. That's also why we don't have things like target lock - you need to watch the monster yourself, instead of having the game track it for you. WebIt can make bosses too easy to cheese and when everyone is just spamming it, it really can take away from a fight for me. There should be a much higher risk for the reward of toppling a monster. imo the monsters/behemoths would only need to get onto their back & crush the guy on them... Slayer vaults onto Pangar.
