Many times I've read where people describe them as a Glock 17 slide on a VP9 frame. The slide is extremely similar to a Glock slide much like the Caniks were very similar to Walthers. WebAug 20, 2024 · I used the trigger return spring from Gallow Precision and a reduced power Glock firing pin block/plunger safety spring. I also installed a Ghost 6.5 lb striker spring. I also have a Freedomsmith Racer Trigger installed. My trigger pull is at 3.5 lbs but it only has 300 rounds down the pipe so I suspect it will get much lighter.

WebApr 19, 2024 · On my digital gauge, it measures 5# 4oz trigger pull. I put the same Galloway springs in my Rival. With the stock trigger (and Galloway springs), it measured 4# even. I changed the Galloway plunger spring to a Cajun Gun Works one and it dropped to 3# 7oz. I never did measure either Canik with a bone stock trigger setup.
